Background
Some years ago El-Bireh Palestine Society was founded to perpetuate the strong ties among its members and to link
their communities around the world together and with their ancestral roots in El-Bireh, Palestine. The goal was to
represent the collective interest of its members, promote the collective betterment of their communities, and safeguard
the future of their culture.
At one time hundreds of families across the United States were members of the Society. Years ago members of the
society would gather for annual conventions, picnics and other social occasions simply to meet and mingle. We are
attempting to recreate that sense of community and to retain some of the traditions of our ancestry.
Mission
The purpose of the society shall be to:
- Promote and encourage the close ties that exist among all El-Bireh people living in the United States of America
- Promote the ancestral language, culture and heritage of El-Bireh, Palestine.
The Purpose Of This Website
The purpose of this website is to provide a central location where friends and family of El-Bireh, Palestine Society can
network, share ideas, and learn about upcoming social events.
